The Stages of Tembua’s Language Translation Process – Stage 3: Final Steps

Your document goes through a lot of different steps in the time between submitting the original copy and receiving the translation. At Tembua, we strive to provide the highest-quality work. We take the time to review the document at every stage of the process to ensure it meets our standards of excellence. Keep reading to learn more about the final steps in our language translation process.

After the document has been translated, reviewed, and proofread, it is sent to the project manager for a final review. They check the formatting of the text and fix any erroneous bullet points and headers. Once the review is completed, the project manager will send the completed translation document to the client. This, however, isn’t the end of the language translation process.

At Tembua, we use a storage system called a translation memory. This is where all the segments of a translation are stored with copies in both the original language and the new language. If this is your first translation, the project manager will create a new translation memory. Otherwise, they will add the documents to the existing one. We use this system so all previous translations are easily accessible and can be revisited and reused whenever needed.

The next time you need a document translated, we will compare it to the existing translation memory for enhanced speed and consistency. This also helps to lower your costs; we charge 30% of the total new word price for segments within the same translation memory. And, of course, before sending any completed work back to you, we thoroughly review each translation so you can rest assured knowing that you are receiving a high-quality document.
